If you are struggling to log in, here are a few things you can try:
Make sure your username and password are entered correctly. Check your original welcome email for your username and password. Remember, these are always case-sensitive.
If you get locked out after three incorrect attempts, the system will let you try again after 60 minutes.
If you still can’t get in, try an ‘incognito’ or ‘private’ browser.
If you still can’t get in, a service provider might have blocked your IP address (the special number assigned to your modem). We never block IP addresses. If this is the case, try logging in on a different network (try at a friend’s house or use your phone as a hotspot and use data, not wifi). This means you are logging in on a different IP address. If it works, you know your IP address has been blocked. If your IP address has been blocked, they usually get unblocked after a few days – don’t worry too much. However, some companies block IP addresses, so you might need to speak to your IT people.
Occasionally, our student centre plugin receives an update. This can mean that it takes up to 24 hours for the updates to propagate across the web. Sometimes, this means that you might experience login errors. Try the following day.
If you still can’t log in, let me know. I can test it for you and we’ll keep trying until we find a solution. If necessary, we will email you the next module.
As always, contact admin if these suggestions don’t work.
